December 23 is our wedding anniversary date.
We usually make our gifts to each other. This year, my spouse outdid himself, as far as I am concerned.
For the life of me, I cannot remember what this stand thing is called, but it is a wonderful help to me in my office.
I have several big books that I use regularly, but this one is used more than any other. It is The American Horticultural Society A-Z Encyclopedia of Garden Plants, and it weighs a LOT! I have had it for about 10 years, and I worry about doing harm to the binding. I don't want my book to fall apart.
So I was delighted when I got one of these stands, whatever they are called, as an anniversary gift.
My Sister TOO, saw it yesterday and she wants one for her big books.
We could probably keep him busy for awhile.

December 23 was DH's parents' anniversary, too. Congratulations on another milestone. That book holder thingie is wonderful. What did you make for him?
I made him an album (to be used for reference)of all the neat things he makes, has made in the past, and wants to make in the future, including instructions for most of them.
He will be able to add to it. He is going nuts wanting to make stuff right now.
Love the book stand, what a wonderful gift.
Janie, the bookstand (easel?) is wonderful. So is that book you have there ;)
Can I borrow your DH sometime? Mine has the ability, but never the time, to make things for me.
I couldn't lend him out. He is so precious, somebody might forget to bring him back.
He is always willing to make things tho. He is happy with that.
