I got mail!

A good friend sent this bumper sticker to me in the mail.
It makes us sound very hardy, and I was once, but don't believe it now! If it is a very small and very venomous snake, I could whack it with a shovel, maybe. I would usually run screaming for help. I am a sissy about snakes. DH has had to dispatch some Cotton-mouth water moccasins, as they are very poisonous and aggressive, and they get in the pond, but we usually leave the snakes alone.

So scary! I don't mind snakes, as long as they are only garter snakes. I don't think I would like those water mocassins around my place. I like that bumper sticker!
How about a sticker that says I smush my own spiders?

That is a great bumper sticker. I don't know if I could smack a snake, but it sounds good on the sticker. BTW, I grew up in Texas, so I consider myself a Texas woman.

I'd much rather shoot it than have to get close enough to wack it if it is venomous. I don't kill non-venomous snakes.

Cure bumper sticker! The last time I found a poisonous snake in the neighborhood I did not shoot it. Instead I carried it down the street and let it go at the 12 million estate, thought the estate owner (one person lives there on 205 acres in an 18,000 sq ft house) needed more excitement in his live.

Snakes are a no-no. Though I know that some are non poisonous, how can you tell the difference until its too late?

Yikes, glad we don't see those snakes where I live. Funny bumper sticker though!

Hi Janie, since I am not from Texas, (Oklahoma originally) that lets me off the hook of having to kill my own snakes! Luckily. While I don't intentionally kill anything except ants in the house, I hate ants, I am deathly afraid of snakes. Don't want to kill them, just want them to go someplace else. Cute sticker though. I like the idea of a strong woman, wherever she hails from. :-)

Oh, I get it now. I thought it said "Texas Women shoot their own SNACKS." All I could think was "What the he** are you all eatin' down there?"
In that case, spiders. I hate spiders and I have no conpunctions about shooting them.

Oh, I hate snakes too. I can crush a scorpion with my shoe, but snakes are another matter all together....
