Whine...

It is cold here.

O.K. it is down to 35 degrees. The wind is terribly persistant, and cold, and it has rained and rained. The cold here, even if it is not AS cold as where you are, is bone numbing, miserable, AWFUL!

I HATE cold. My dogs HATE cold, and my Darling HATES it more than any of us hate it.

We are spoiled by habitual mild winters. Cool, not cold. Seldom more than a day of cold, then it will get back up into the 60's or 70's. Seventy is cool.

I have a new book to read. Light reading, this. "Alice in Wonderland"

We, too, hate cold. the temperature is forecast to be 26 degrees tonight, even colder tomorrow night perhaps. Wind chills in the teens.

When you finish Alice go here and read Through the Looking Glass which is more fun than Alice.

Did Lewis Carroll have a vivid imagination, or was he under the influence of considerable drugs?

Oh, forgot the URL for the Looking Glass:

Through the Looking Glass

I am wanting Monday to hurry and be here. Looking forward to a high of 66, low of 54, no rain.

I can handle that.

Jean, I think maybe Lewis Carroll might have been kin to Timothy Leary. Wasn't he the druggie professor in the 'olden days' of the 60's and 70's who espoused the use of LSD?

Sounds like a WHOLE LOT OF DRUGS going on in AIW. LOL

If it were 35 here we would be outside trying to get some work done. We had 8 inches of snow yesterday and a low last night of -27F. Now that's cold!

I've never read Alice or Through the Looking Glass. And still have no desire to.
