umm-umm- good!

Very exciting news here! We cut this stalk of bananas about a week ago to protect them from freezing. We always cut them green and hang them in the shop to ripen. There were 12 bananas on this stalk, and 11 are surviving now.
They are ripe now, just perfect to make a banana pudding and a banana nut bread for Christmas.

We are soooooo lucky!

I'll bet they're sweet and tasty. Nothing like home-grown.

OhMom, what would you make?

Spouse was caught with one in his mouth last night. I feel that I either need to hurry and use them, OR....I need to hide them real good. LOL, they are good.

I would make banana bread, wrapped and stored in the refrigerator I have kept it up to a month, at least when I have multiple loaves :)
